(The Approach)

Threshing: to beat the grain loose. Winnowing: to let the wind carry off what’s left.

Plenty of agencies automate to clear their plate, then report how much got done. We care how well:every record trusted, every lead routed, every message earned.

(Services)

Four things we do. Done more carefully than you’d expect.

  1. 01

    Signal-Driven Outbound

Campaigns triggered by real buying moments and written to each persona’s pains. Never a template, never a recycled playbook.

  2. 02

    Email Infrastructure

Domains, inboxes, authentication and warm-up set up properly in weeks one and two, then monitored so deliverability never quietly decays.

  3. 03

    RevOps & Automation

Workflows in HubSpot or Salesforce your team will feel: AEs alerted the moment a prospect replies with interest, parent and subsidiary accounts linked, leads routed to the right rep. Always the simplest build that does the job.

  4. 04

    CRM Cleaning

Deduped, enriched and correctly owned records in HubSpot or Salesforce, so every report you pull is one you can trust.

(Why our agency)

GTM changes every quarter. Keeping up is our job, so it isn’t yours.

So, what is GTM engineering?

It’s the work that makes sales, marketing and RevOps run as one system. We orchestrate the data, CRM, automations, signals and sending infrastructure behind your go-to-market, so your team spends its time selling, not fighting bad data or each other.

  • No templates. Plenty of experience.

We start from your business, how your team actually sells and the KPIs they’re measured on, then build the systems and messaging around them. When something has worked in a similar context, we’ll bring it to you and adapt it to fit.

  • Always current.

We test new data, AI, automation and sequencing tools so you don’t have to, and only bring in what earns its place in your stack.

  • Looked after, not just launched.

CRM fields change, APIs update and inbox providers move the goalposts. We monitor your workflows and deliverability, and fix what drifts before your team feels it.

(The Process)

Pipeline first. Then everything around it.

  1. Step 01Weeks 1–2

    Lay the foundations

Secondary domains, inboxes, SPF/DKIM/DMARC and warm-up, so every email we send later actually lands.

  2. Step 02Weeks 1–2

    Map your market

We size your whole TAM and gather enough accounts for your first month of campaigns, then build out the rest as we go.

  3. Step 03Weeks 1–3

    Score and launch

Intent and buying signals layered onto every account, so your first campaign reaches the most qualified ones by weeks 2–3.

  4. Step 04Weeks 3–4

    Measure and sharpen

We see which campaigns land, double down on what works and cut what doesn’t, with the data behind every change.

  5. Step 05Ongoing

    Tighten the system

Ongoing iterations, CRM cleaning, real-time rep alerts and a brief for every call we book: why they fit, the signals we tracked, what qualifies them. You walk in ready to close.

(Signals we watch)

Your buyers aren’t everyone’s buyers.

Most agencies track the same signals for every client. We build ours around your ICP: their interests, their KPIs, the work they’re actually responsible for. So every message lands at the right moment, for a reason that matters to them.

Uchenna, founder of Thresh & Winnow

(The founder)

The person on your first call is the person doing the work.

Uchenna has spent five years building outbound and RevOps systems for B2B teams, first at Volley, one of the first agencies built around personalised outbound (its alumni now fill seats at Clay), then at a Clay Studio partner. Before that, five years running B2B sales cycles in energy, which is why every system we build starts with the people who will use it. Thresh & Winnow is the agency Uchenna always wanted to work with.

(Questions)

What teams usually ask first.

Anything else, ask us on the call.

  1. 01

Why work with a small agency like yours?

We deliberately keep our client list short. Every account gets senior attention, and the work never gets stretched thin to make room for the next logo.

  2. 02

Doesn’t every agency automate this now?

Most do, and many stop there. They confuse work being completed with work being done well. We automate the repetitive parts so our time goes into the judgement: who to contact, why now and what to say.

  3. 03

How quickly do campaigns go live?

Inboxes warm while we map your market, so nothing waits on anything else. Your first campaign goes live in weeks two to three, and we build out from there.

  4. 04

We’ve tried outbound before and it didn’t work.

Usually the list or the timing was the problem, not the channel. We start from your ICP and the signals that mean someone is ready to buy, then write for that person.

  5. 05

Will cold email hurt our main domain?

Not the way we run it. We never send from your main domain. Campaigns go out from secondary domains we set up, authenticate and warm before anything is sent, and we watch deliverability every week.

  6. 06

Will any bad data get through?

Occasionally, yes. No data provider is perfect, so we never rely on just one. We check several sources against each other, verify every email before it goes out and watch bounce rates closely, so anything that slips through gets caught and corrected fast.

  7. 07

Do we need to buy a stack of new tools?

We work inside your CRM and existing tools wherever we can, and only bring in what earns its place.
